How to build successful youth development nonprofit organizations?

Specifically, this self-paced learning journey allows you to complete the following tasks around your schedule, at your pace, in the comfort and privacy of your home.

  • Write the problem statement.
  • Write the program description.
  • Write the implementation plan.
  • Write the evaluation plan.
  • Write the sustainability plan.
  • Create an ID.me account.
  • Complete the Form 1023: Application for Recognition of Exemption.
  • Submit the application packet to the IRS for review.

These are the tasks you would complete to build a successful youth development nonprofit organization OR any type of nonprofit organization to serve your community.

What happened to the free grant funding announcements?

Once upon a time, the Candid.org sent free Requests for Proposals (RFP) announcements on Wednesdays at 2:00 pm EST.

RFPs are announcements that grant funders make to make the nonprofit community aware of free grant money. These RFP announcements shared information about which funders were accepting grant proposals, the amount of grant money available, the content to include in the grant proposal, and the deadline for submission.

As you can imagine, this was a very important resource for grant writers and nonprofit leaders who need grant money to offer community services.

The information is still available. Unfortunately, it is NOT free anymore.
