​What type of Form 990 should you file?​

There are three major types of Form 990s based on revenue and assets.

If your nonprofit organization generated $50,000 or less in revenue last year, you could use the Form 990-N (ePostcard).

How to avoid losing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status?​
If you fail to file the appropriate Form 990 Information Return for three consecutive years, the IRS will automatically revoke your nonprofit's 501(c)(3) status.
